Marcelo is an award-winning rally racing champion who built his own race cars. Building and competing meant understanding how mechanical systems perform together, spotting weaknesses and solving problems under demanding conditions.

That background informs his work as owner and lead mechanic at Toro’s Automotive. He brings extensive truck experience and a methodical approach to the cars, SUVs, pickups and vans in his care.

For Marcelo, preventive maintenance is part of the bigger picture: helping customers care for their vehicles over the long term, rather than waiting for the next breakdown.
